Modern gaming\u2019s situation these days is less than ideal. In the last couple of years, we have seen countless big-budgeted games flopping for different reasons. The first one is that most of these big-budgeted games were too generic and had little to nothing in terms of depth. Whether it\u2019s Suicide Squad killing the Justice League or whether it was the Star Wars Outlawz. Most new games lack the feeling of immersion. The second reason, in my opinion, for these big budgeted games to flop is the game-breaking bugs, and a lot of them. I have encountered a lot of them as well, whether it\u2019s Assassin’s Creed Shadows, or Silent Hill 2, or even the remake of stalker 2. All of them had game-breaking bugs, and you couldn\u2019t ignore most of them during your gameplay since they were recurring.<\/p>\n\n\n

The last reason is the performance issue, and I genuinely think that this one might hurt the gaming industry the most. One-third of the playstation players are still on ps4, and most pc gamers play their game on mid-range pc\u2019s. Due to that, most new games that are built on Unreal Engine 5 are mostly unplayable due to low FPS on mid-range machines. There\u2019s no arguing that UE5 has produced some of the best-looking games that we have right now. Whether it\u2019s Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II or black myth wukong or whether it\u2019s the fan favourite Tekken 8. All of them look incredible, but the only issue with them is performance, and in this blog, I am going to give some tips that\u2019ll increase your FPS. This blog is mainly going to be focused on Tekken 8 since it\u2019s the only multiplayer UE5 game that still has a loyal player base left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tekken 8 minimum system requirements:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

So, firstly, you need to make sure that your system can handle Namco\u2019s flagship title. Because if you don\u2019t, then the game will obviously lag on your system, which for a competitive game is not optimal. Here are the system requirements for the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keep in mind that these are the absolute minimum requirements that devs have suggested that your system should have. But in my opinion even these requirements aren’t enough to run the game on 1080p low to medium settings. But if you just want to play the game with your friends and do not want to be hyper competitive then yes this system should be able to run the game at 50 to 60 fps on an average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TIPS to improve the FPS:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are still some known performance issues in the game, so just keep that in mind before trying these tips. While Namco has been trying to address this performance issue, they still haven’t achieved much success in it. So before giving you tips, just make sure that your pc has most of its resources free for the game to use. I want you to disable all of the background programs that you don\u2019t use, disable programs that startup with Windows, and also disable Windows services that you don\u2019t use but hog your system\u2019s resources. Now that that is out of the way, here are some tips that will give you some more FPS in your game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tip 1:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Just turn down the in-game settings. Before doing anything else, just do the first most logical and simplest thing which is just lowering down your FPS. You could also use some DLSS or FSR if you want some extra performance, but keep in mind that using either upscaling will increase the input lag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tip 2:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Disable full screen optimization Windows does this thing where it tries to optimize the full screen programs in a way that they use less power for running, and for our games, we don\u2019t want that, so we have to disable full screen optimization for the game.
