The brand new Train map overhaul comes with pretty visuals which makes the iconic map more fun than ever. The Train map is now officially part of the map pool in CS2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Train is a really good small-size map, it has been part of all CS from 1.6, Source, and Global Offensive. It has now the CS2 graphics and the weather is also very high quality. Valve also added &nbsp;\u201cThere\u2019s plenty of classic Counter-Strike in every inch of this map \u2013 but we also made sure to mix up the gameplay a bit to keep you Train veterans on your toes,\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s everything you need to know about CS2 Train map addition and Overpass changes with new update.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Train map in CS2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Train is live now in CS2 and will be part of Competitive, casual, and Deathmatch map pools. The map has gone through a massive overhaul and it\u2019s dark and gloomy this time. The new rain feature also makes it very fresh and you can see water puddles. However, the ladder remove has been removed from the Train map. There will be new competitive layouts in <a href=\"https:\/\/immortalboost.com\/csgo\/\">comp matches<\/a>, it\u2019s time to learn the new Train map. Train will become part of CS2 esports in the coming year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Community maps in CS2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Train is the highlight of the new CS2 update and Overpass getting changes. That\u2019s not all Valve has also added two brand new Community maps to the roster. Thera, Mills, Assembly, and Memento are out of the Community map and Basalt and Edin have been added to the Competitive, Casual, and Deathmatch roster. However, Palais and Whistle will still be available to play in <a href=\"https:\/\/immortalboost.com\/blog\/csgo\/wingman-how-to-play-ranks-maps-and-more\/\">Wingman mode<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Having played a bit of Basalt before its addition here, I can certainly vouch for it being tons of fun. Don\u2019t be surprised to see this one stick around. Palais is also a solid map, although I can\u2019t say I\u2019ve played either Edin or Whistle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Overpass changes in CS2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"949\" height=\"532\" src=\"https:\/\/immortalboost.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/overpass-changes.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20503\" srcset=\"https:\/\/immortalboost.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/overpass-changes.jpg 949w, https:\/\/immortalboost.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/overpass-changes-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/immortalboost.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/overpass-changes-768x431.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 949px) 100vw, 949px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Overpass has still not been added to the active CS2 map pool. But due to a ton of changes to the map, it surely can be a part of the roster very soon. With the new update, the Water is gone and there have been a few changes to B-site in visuals. Heaven drop is reworked, now you will be able to drop down from heaven straight down. Overall visibility of the Overpass has been greatly improved.
