Rainbow Six Siege servers received some maintenance along with a new Hotfix Patch on October 8, 2024<\/strong>, after an outage of servers, mainly for the Xbox platform. The server issue is quite normal in live-service games as there can be an outage occurring at any random time which causes errors and discontinuity in matchmaking.<\/a> Rainbow Six Siege is one of the most-played tactical FPS games. R6 received some server issues on October 7 which made the Devs release an unnoticed patch on the next day. To all platforms to let players back in the game with a\u00a0smoother experience of Operation Twin Shells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Operation Twin Shells, the current Season of Rainbow Six Siege is live with a new Defend Operator named Skop\u00f3s<\/a> who is the first disabled operator in the game. Although she doesn\u2019t come to the fighting grounds herself, she deploys her two humanoid robots to take care of the threat. Not only that, but she also has a unique ability to switch between the two robots which gives her an advantage of dual health and ammunition capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, there were some reports regarding her unique ability which Ubisoft fixed in the latest Hotfix Patch. Due to a random small outage of servers, the Devs react quickly to put out a Hotfix containing numerous fixes around gameplay, level design, operators, and user experience. Within these fixes, the Devs also fixed a bug where a robot of Skop\u00f3s spawned without a shield which is a crucial aspect of her ability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, there wasn\u2019t any new content added with this update nor change to any Playlists. However, all platforms received a different size of update with Steam being the shortest and PlayStation 4 being the biggest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
