Here\u2019s how you create a restore point:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Right-click on my PC and go to advanced system settings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Now click on the &#8220;System Protection&#8221; Tab and choose your desired partition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Now click on Configure and turn on the system protection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Create the restore and name it whatever you want.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>And you are done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Virtual Memory:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Creating virtual ram is a really cunning way to eliminate frame drops for low physical memory users because if you do have memory lower than 6 GB, then your game will take hiccups and stutter because of low ram, so by creating virtual ram, you\u2019ll essentially put your apps that exceed the ram limit on your storage devices. You\u2019ll notice the difference in frame times, and it will also reduce the input lag by a lot. So I can bore you with an explanation of every setting and what it does exactly, but I am not going to because this will get painfully tedious if I do that, so let\u2019s bounce on to the next step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5. Update Your drivers or Downgrade them:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You might hear about updating your drivers every now and then, but I guess you never heard that rolling back drivers and downgrading them can sometimes be beneficial. First, update your graphic card driver and see if there are any performance bumps; if not, you could also downgrade your GPU drivers because some GPUs&#8217; old drivers are more stable than the new ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>6. Disable startup apps and unnecessary programs:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This step will not only improve your frame rate but, overall, make your boot times a little faster. There are two ways to do it. The first is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First, start Valorant after starting the tab on the desktop.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to the task manager and right-click Valorant\u2019s exe file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Now click on Go to Details and right-click on the highlighted app.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set priority to high or even real-time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Now for the second way, it\u2019s a little intimidating, but in this way, you will not have to tab out and re-do all of the things that I mentioned above; in this way, you\u2019ll just simply run the game and be on your way. You can search for a regedit file on Google and run it as administrator, and after doing that, your game will be set as a high priority in the tasks list all the time. And if anything goes wrong, you can always use the restore point that we created earlier on this blog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>8. For Nvidia Users:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Right-click on the desktop and go to the Nvidia control panel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Now on 3D settings, click on &#8220;Use the advanced 3D Image settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You should see on the right, &#8220;Take me there.&#8221; Click on it, and it will take you to the 3D image settings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Now do the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Turn on image scaling and set it to 60%; this will downgrade image sharpness and give a boost to fps.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on Background Apps max frame rate and set that to 20 fps.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turn on low-latency mode.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Texture filtering quality sets this to high performance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Texture filtering: trilinear optimizations turn that on (this will enable all physical cores of the CPU to run).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>And you\u2019re done. This will drastically improve the fps. I mean, you could literally feel and see the difference; the jitters will be a lot lower than before. The option might be different if you\u2019re using an old driver, so update your video drivers and then follow these steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>9.
