AGENT UPDATE In 8.02
⦁ Valorant Patch Notes 8.02 is very short as the Viper has got some art updates mainly with her poison Cloud which is Q Grenade.
⦁ Decay debuff has also been updated to be clear and visible.
AGENT UPDATE In 8.03
Valorant Patch 8.03 includes Chamber Buffs, teases a new Agent, and more. Valorant Patch 8.03 is here to restore the Chamber’s place in the meta. There is an upcoming agent “Smokerdancer” and the interaction with the Esports.
Chamber Update
Chamber’s buff is coming in Patch 8.03. Chamber is one of the Valorant’s most volatile agents. The French sniper has seen every side of the meta from his unstoppable reign after his introduction to a severe nerf-banishing to the depths of agent pick rates.
Patch 8.03 intends to make the chamber more viable and competitive Sentinel. He can consistently hold team territory invaders with a stronger ultimate and cheaper headhunter.
Chamber Buffs
Headhunter’s cost will decrease from 150 to 100 Credits.
Tour De Force
From 0.7 to 0.9 the Tour De Force’s fire rate has enhanced. This isn’t quite as fast as it used to be. Chambers ultimately used to fire at 1.2 so almost twice as fast as it currently is. The new value of 0.9 is sort of in between the Nerf Rate and what it used to be.
According to Developers: Continuing with our recent focus on sharpening the strengths and weaknesses of the Sentinel role, this update aims to push the Chamber’s ability to hold territory with its unique arsenal of weapons. The changes should provide you more access to the Headhunter (Q) as a save or sidearm without draining your econ, and increase the clear strength of Chamber’s ultimate compared to the Operator.
Breach Update
Breach new voice lines upgraded & interaction in Patch 8.03 and agents like Gekko, Harbor, and Deadlock will also be added to the interaction line.
New Agents Teases
⦁ A butterfly-themed player card teasing Valorant’s new Smokerdancer agent.
New Agent Tier List patch 8.03
Tier | Agent |
---|---|
S-tier | Viper, Omen, Raze |
A-tier | Killjoy, Yoru, Cypher, Reyna, Harbor, Sova, Omen, Chamber |
B-tier | Brimstone, Breach, Neon, Sage, Phoenix |
C-tier | Gekko, Fade, Deadlock |
D-tier | Iso |
Viper is going to stay on S-tier unless we get a weird map pool but there are maps where Viper needed. Icebox and Breeze are one of these maps. Raze is the best duelist as she is great for taking space on site. Decent at breaking utility although not as good as she was once. Raze is one of the best-ranked characters as well as one of the best solo carrier characters as well.
Iso did receive some buffs recently unfortunately character has been underperforming. The shootable ORB duration increased by 2 to 3 seconds. Initial Buff and shield duration increased from 15 to 20. Shield Width was reduced from 250 to 200.
