Rainbow Six Siege’s Newly Released Osa Elite Bundle Receives Criticism from Fans

Rainbow Six Siege is a tactical shooter from Ubisoft with over 70 different operators between Attackers and Defenders. Each operator is uniquely designed with their own set of abilities/gear and background story. Every player has their own set of operator preferences on both Attackers and Defenders which they can play confidently and bring a victory to their team.

However, unlike any other popular tactical shooter in the gaming scene, a lot of players prefer various skins for their favorite weapons and operators. When it comes to operators’ skins, the most valuable ones are the Elite ones. They are the legendary skins and each operator gets their own Elite skin after some time or maybe years.

Recently, with the popular release of Y9S3 Operation Twin Shells and new Operator Skopos. Ubisoft released Osa’s Elite Bundle containing its Elite Skin, but instead of fans getting excited and happy about it, they criticized it for being dull and not worthy. Here is everything you need to know about the new Osa’s Elite Bundle in Rainbow Six Siege and what fans are saying about it.

Osa Elite Bundle Price & Contents

Osa is the first trans character in Rainbow Six Siege and was introduced back in 2021 with Operation Crystal Guard. She is an Attacker operator with a unique ability to deploy a transparent and bulletproof shield in door/window frames or floors for an attack strategy.

However, if you have the Premium Battle Pass purchased, you will get a 10% discount on the Elite Bundle, costing you 1,620 R6 Credits. Now, let’s see all the contents in Osa’s Elite Bundle.

The whole theme of the Osa Elite Bundle is based on Star Child skin and with all of them equipped, it gives a unique perspective on all Osa’s gear.

Fans Criticizing Osa’s Elite Bundle

Unlike many other Elite Skins that have been released in the past, fans instantly hated and criticized Osa’s Elite Bundle due to not being of high-quality skin and the same jumping MVP animation for victory. A lot of fans and players are criticizing Ubisoft under the Osa’s Elite Bundle tweet for making Osa’s Star Child uniform not appealing.

The Star Child uniform includes an Orange Jacket with a toolbelt, and the headgear is some sort of scientist’s goggles which makes sense if we look at Osa’s background description. However, the resembling touch of Osa to her background is not well received by the fans, and they are simply refusing to purchase it.

Moreover, some of the fans are debating why would Ubisoft launch Osa’s Elite skin first rather than Maestro’s which is a much older operator who joined back in 2018. Fans’ criticism against Star Child skin is at its peak and we don’t know whether Ubisoft will ever change the skin or not.
