In Rainbow Six Siege a new player has to go through the process to become eligible for playing the game’s ranked mode. Just like in every other competitive shooter, they all have a threshold for a new player to pass so they can enter into the game’s competitive ladder. The reason behind doing this is pretty simple.
The developers of these games want the players to gain fundamental knowledge of the game’s core mechanics before testing themselves against skilled players. If they remove this requirement and every new player could play against highly skilled players They’d get a serious beatdown which would ultimately lead them to leave the game they are playing.
And companies do not want newly joined players to get discouraged and supposedly leave. That is why there is a level requirement in the first place. In Rainbow Six Siege a player has to get at least on a level 50 before playing the rank mode. This procedure takes at least 60 to 80 hours on the minimum to complete and most players don’t have that much time or willingness to put this many hours into the game just to unlock the competitive mode. So here are some tips from my side that will help you level faster and more quickly in Rainbow Six Siege.
Play Quick Matches:
This one might seem an obvious choice but the problem with obvious choices is that they do get neglected more often than not. Playing more quick matches results in more Xp gains. For instance, on average 1 quick match gives xp of around 500 to 800. Meaning that if you play 5 games a day which only take 1 hour you would easily get around 2 to 3 thousand experience points per day. I mean it’s simple math and if you manage to be a team player the xp number could be a lot higher than the average.
Also, quick matches allow you to experience the game’s fundamental mechanics quickly. Since it is generally fast-paced you would learn the game way faster than playing other game modes.
Play with xp friendly operators:
The next tip is to play with xp friendly operators. What are xp friendly operators you might ask?
So here’s a list of them:
- Attackers:
- Ash:
- Sledge
- Zofia
- finka
- Defenders:
- Rook
- Mute
- Castle
- Warden.
- doc
While the biggest factor in gaining xp is to win a match if you manage to help your teammates on the way it increases your xp gain. For example, doc healing his teammates provides around 50 to 150 xp per heal. So if you do it efficiently it can give you a pretty big jump in xp gain.
On the other hand, if you use the attacker’s gadget often and efficiently that can also pile up into a good chunk of Experience points but keep in mind that the objective of every match should be to win it. choosing these operators can help you in xp gain but if you lost the match with them then it would not matter how many teammates you healed or how much shield you gave them.
Play with prime gaming:
This tip is a bit situational but if you happen to have a Prime subscription you will automatically get Prime gaming services meaning you would have free games, a free Twitch channel subscription and most importantly you would be able to get boosters free of cost. Prime Gaming also gives free skins and whatnot but most often they have xp boosters available. So you could use them and gain much more XP than usual.
Just search “prime gaming r6” on Google, click on the first link, log into your Ubisoft account and link it to your Prime account. After that launch the game and you will be able to claim your free boosters and other rewards. Like unlocking an operator earlier or other cosmetics of the game.
Play unranked:
While playing quick matches would help you to gain xp quicker in unranked you would be able to experience the full length of an average match. You would be able to make out plays to help your teammates and you would be able to learn the ranked mode quicker than a quick match. Also, I guarantee you that if you play unranked matches for 30 to 40 hours with a good percentage winning ratio you will easily get level 50 without doing anything excess.
A typical unranked match goes around for 25 to 30 minutes. This means that you could easily play 3 to 4 matches in an average gaming session. If you manage to perform well in these matches you would easily a thousand or two xp a pop.
Buy a level boosting service:
You could also buy a leveling-up service where you could pay someone to boost your account’s level. This is the fastest way to get to level 50. Without any hassle, you would get your account to level 50 within 1 week not only that you wouldn’t have to play the same thing over and over again. The average price for this service is around 2 dollars per level meaning that you can get an account to level 50 with only 100 quid or cheaper if you play the game for a little bit and then give it for boosting.
Play with your friend group:
The next thing you could do is to play the game with your friend group and make sure that they have their xp booster activated. Because for each booster you would gain a 10% increase in xp gain imagine what your whole group’s boosters can do to the XP. If you don’t have friends that play Siege then you could also buy xp boosters for yourself for really cheap and use them because otherwise, you would have to take a longer route to level 50.
