Rainbow Six Siege X has been revealed on March 13, 2025 in Atlanta in a Rainbow Six event by Ubisoft. Siege X is set to drive the future of the franchise. Ubisoft revealed ton of new features from enhanced graphics, environmental damage which is my new favorite feature and more. Good news is fans can jump in Closed Beta for Siege X right now!

Rainbow Six Siege X reveal is in a few days and it will be revealed at the official reveal event in Atlanta on March 13, 2025. Siege X will be a overhauled version with improved graphics, new features, map reworks and more. To celebrate the reveal, Ubisoft is reportedly doing Twitch Drops for the title and they can contain Beta keys for Siege X.

With Six Invitational 2025 closing Ubisoft dropped a bomb at Rainbow Six Siege fans. For the future of Siege Ubisoft announced new upgrade for Siege called Rainbow Six Siege X. Rainbow Six Siege X is set to cater upcoming 10 years of Siege. The game will include new graphics and audio and will be an upgrade to Rainbow Six Siege.

The Freeze For All event is coming to Rainbow Six Siege. The new game mode will be available to play starting December 16, 2024 and will run through January 6, 2025. It’s just not any Holiday event, Freeze For All brings a ton of exclusive skins and cosmetics to the game. As of now, players can get their hands on Freeze For All exclusive skins by purchasing the Freeze For All packs or by directly purchasing the bundles. However, all players can claim one free Freeze For All pack in the Highlight section of Rainbow Six Siege’s in-game store!

After the reveal at the BLAST R6 Major Montreal, the new operation is finally releasing in a few hours. Collision Point will be the final operation for R6s this year. It brings multiple operator changes as well as the Blackbeard Rework. More operator getting new gadgets include Sens and Thunderbird. Ying is getting a nerf once again. Moreover, Crossplay will be introduced across PC and Console players with Collision Point.

Rainbow Six Siege X Closed Beta

During the event and livestream via Twitch Ubisoft introduced special drops for Siege X Closed Beta. This helps players get access to the closed beta depending upon their preferred platform. Everyone was required to watch 30 minutes of Twitch livestream in order to be eligible for the Closed Beta key drop.

Rainbow Six also revealed brand new mode Dual Front which is a 6v6 mode with mixed operators and different number of objectives in order to win.

When will Siege X Closed Beta ends

Siege X closed beta is live on March 13, 2025 and will run through March 19, 2025 at 2pm CT. The official Siege X release date is also revealed during the event. Rainbow Six Siege X is set to launch with Y10S2 which will release on June 10. Moreover, Siege X is going free to access which means new players jumping in will be able to try out the game for free.

Siege X will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S/X.

How to get Rainbow Six Siege X Closed Beta key

If you are a Twitch viewer you can watch Siege X reveal on R6’s official channel and as a reward for watching you can receive and claim drops. However, you will need to link your Ubisoft account with your Twitch in order to claim your rewards.

You can follow these steps to link your Twitch to your Ubisoft account.

You can track the progress of your drops on Twitch by going into the inventory or clicking on Drops.

Rainbow Six Siege X Dual Front Mode

New Dual Front mode is the brand new permanent mode introduced with Siege  X. This is a 6v6 mode and players will need to complete a series of objective to win. There is also a hostage point in Dual Front mode which helps with a point that can help you win in contested situations. Both teams can fight for hostage and get hostage to escape in order to score the point. The hostage point is available during the end-game.

I had a hands-on experience with the Siege X beta and I can surely say this is one of the most fun modes introduced to the Tactical shooter.
