With the Overwatch 2 Season 12 out there have been a lot of new additions to the game and some balances. There has been a variety of changes to the game. With the new support Hero Juno to new game modes. This brings us to the Season 12 buffs and nerfs to the Heroes.
Overwatch 2 Season 12 also added a Wave Respawn in the game to make matches really smooth, they are also enabled in both Quick Play and Competitive matchmaking. But the new buffs are very bold and players are concerned.
Zarya’s Particle Cannon Buff
One of the most controversial changes to a Hero is Zarya. Players are completely in shock after Zarya got buffed. Blizzard buffed Zarya’s Particle Cannon. Particle Cannon now does more damage after the patch. Zarya’s Cannon damage has received a buff to 55 and the maximum damage is now 110. This has made players annoyed. Zarya being a tank doing this much crazy damage is totally broken. Also, she’s one of the strongest Heroes in the game. She was already marked as an annoying hero to face but now Blizzard has put another nail in the back and buffed her attacks.
Sombra’s Speed Buff
The new Season 12 buff to Sombra has made her movement quite fast. Meanwhile, her health was decreased. Her charge also increased impact from 25 to 35. Sombra mains are now pushing aggressively to tanks which is kind of a risky move. Sombra is a sideline player who should be behind tanks to deal great damage and provide cover from a distance.
Mercy Back to her old state
With Mercy received nerfs before Blizzard finally decided to buff Mercy and they increased her damage buff ability. Mercy is now a better support Hero than she was last season. She can now be a great help to counter enemy DPS.
Kiriko’s crazy Kunai Buff
Another support Hero buff comes to Kiriko and players are more mad than ever. Kiriko’s Kunai was good damage before but it does even more damage now. However, her health was reduced but players are still mad about Kunai damage which now does a whopping 60 damage which was 45 before. Players are calling Kiriko a “braindead” Hero.
