What are mythical skins:

So, mythical skins are one of the ultimate levels of customizing any hero. As Blizzard claims, it is the limit of how much a character can be customized to look good. Whether it is the animation of the abilities, the abilities themselves behaving differently, or just the entire look of the character, all of that looks extremely good when they have the mythical skins upgraded to the max.

So every season, blizzard adds a new mythical hero skin to the game. You can buy right out the gate via the mythical item shop. You could also use money to upgrade those skins to the maximum level, which elevates the details of that mythical suit. There’s an extreme level for every hero in the game. You could get the vengeance mercy which is, in my opinion, one of the best-looking skins in the game.

Or you could take a Cyberdemon Genji the choice is yours. Blizzard is also planning to bring new content to mythical skins So it is just a start for Blizzard they have been planning a lot for mythical skins.

While you are getting to know all about skins, if you need help in improving your rank and unlocking new skins, you can always choose our Overwatch 2 Boosting services, where a professional booster will play along with you to help you unlock every skin that you need in-game and rank as well!

How can you get them:

There are two ways that you could get them one is to buy the premium battle pass, where you get the mythical prisms. You’ll get more of the mythical prisms by progressing tier by tier as long as you complete challenges. By using them you’ll get vengeance mercy or any other mythical hero skin that you want. As of in season 10’s battle pass starting on tier 8 you’ll collect 8 prisms for every 10 tiers you complete until tier 78. After this level, you’ll have enough of the mythic prisms. You could unlock any customization level of your mythic hero. You could do this multiple seasons to build a big chunk of the mythic prisms.

You can just buy these mythic prisms by using your credit or debit card. This is a more straightforward and easier way to get the skins you wanted, but the mythic prisms do cost a lot more than a premium battle pass which only costs 10$.

How to choose your mythical skin:

While choosing any cosmetic is a personal preference. But in mythical skins, you don’t have that luxury, as they come once in a season, and they don’t come back for the next two seasons. If you missed that mythical skin you wanted to buy you would have to wait 6 months for it to re-appear on the game. Season 10’s mythical skin is Vengeance Mercy.

You could currently buy the skin in the mythic shop. Season 9’s mythical skin was the mythic Moira, but you cannot buy her right now as you have to wait for season 12 for it to re-appear. Season 8 was the Orisa, but luckily it has been 2 seasons since Orisa’s appearance in the game. It will most likely return in season 11.

Level Up Your Mythic:

Since the mythical skins are really unique and are available for a limited time, Blizzard has also added a progression system to them. But unlike the progression of battle pass with mythical skins you have first to buy the base level with 50 mythic prisms. In this basic level, you’ll get the skin, voice interaction, animations like reloading and firing animation, and some VFX, which will show in-game after a kill or a finisher.

After the base level, you will have three more levels to unlock each of them will require 10 mythic prisms to upgrade. After each level, you’ll get additional cosmetics on your hero like a face mask or a cap behind your hero and things like that. All in all, if you want to upgrade a single mythical skin to maximum you would need about 80 mythic prisms. If you buy them from the Mythic will cost you around 80 dollars. Which, in my opinion, are expensive for a single cosmetic item that you can’t sell or trade afterward.
