Blizzard has revealed Overwatch 2’s new Tank Hero Hazard. Hazard is a Scottish Tank who belongs to a punk faction called Phreaks. New Hero will be out on December 10, 2024. However, ahead of release Blizzard will be doing a playtest for Hazard. You can join the playtest from November 22 to 25. It’s time to make space for your team in Competitive matches with Hazard.

In the new trailer, the devs show, apparently what’s supposed to be Hazards kid and how his abilities will work. Overwatch 2 Season 13: Season of Spellbinders is now officially available on all available platforms. The earlier teaser trailer showcases the promising Halloween theme for the new Season offering a brand-new game mode called Junkenstein’s Laboratory, My Hero Academia collaboration skins, Mythic Widowmaker Skin, a new Battlepass, and more. A new Tank Hero was also teased in the teaser for Season 13.
Overwatch Classic is a brand new limited-time mode that will take players back to OG Overwatch. It will include all original game settings and content. The new Overwatch Classic is coming beside Overwatch 2 Season 13 mid-patch.

Overwatch 2 Hazard abilities
Hazard will be a Tank Hero, going in a playtest tomorrow. Here are all the Hazard abilities and his kit.
- A cannon for an arm that fires crystals that can hit multiple enemies at once. This cannon has five barrels.
- An attack that causes purple crystals to grow on the ground for a knockback effect.
- Purple crystals that grow out of his back and rain down on his enemies for AoE damage. This might be his ultimate.
- Hazard also appears capable of jumping and landing, which is a move reminiscent of Doomfist.
In trailer, it shows that Hazard’s right hand is a canon equipped with five barrels. It can fire multiple crystals at enemies at once.
Hazard can make purple crystals appear out of the ground. It also appears that this attack can knock enemies back. His flashiest move involves purple crystals emerging from his back and raining down on his foes.
Overwatch 2 Hazard passives
- 25% reduction in received knockbacks
- 25% reduction in received critical damage
- 40% reduction in ultimate generation
Since Hazard is a tank hero in Overwatch 2, he has a 25% reduction in received knockbacks. The same applies to received critical damage. Meanwhile, his ultimate generation is reduced by 40%.
