FragPunk is the latest hero shooter game that offers a fast-paced 5v5 experience. Players play as heroes known as Lancers and use a very unique item to change the scenario of the game. FragPunk has a mechanic that makes it different from other hero shooters: Shard Cards. These cards change the world itself, and each one of them provides significant buffs to each team. The game also has a ranked mode where players can play matches to earn rank points and go higher. Unlock Ranked Mode in FragPunk

You need to reach Account Level 30 before making your way into the ranked system in Fragpunk. You can’t get into the ranked mode after just installing the game. You will go through several competitive matches and level up. Playing Shard Clash Matches, earn XP and give consistent playtime. Shard Clash is a game mode for leveling up quickly. This is your main source of leveling and jump straight into the ranked mode. However, the other major source of unlocking the ranked mode is gaining XP. You can earn experience points by winning the matches, scoring more kills, and completing objectives. The Ranked Mode will be available directly from the main menu after hitting level 30.

FragPunk Ranks Explained

The first thing to know is that ranked mode unlocks at player level 30. You have to play many casual matches to increase your player level and eventually unlock ranks. The game has many modes, such as Shard Clash, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Core, and much more. Play different modes and unlock ranked modes. However, it does not end here; FragPunk has different ranks to distribute players according to their skill level. The game has the following ranks:

  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Platinum
  • Diamond
  • Master
  • Punkmaster

Regular and Advanced Ranked Matches

Fragpunk offers a unique ranked system that gives you an immersive experience while playing matches. If you’re a Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum level player, then you can easily participate in Regular Ranked Matches. On the other hand, if you’re a Diamond, Master, or Punkmaster level player, then you can participate in ranked matches. 

Regular Ranked Matches

A regular ranked match has a total of eleven rounds. The first team to secure six rounds wins the game. Attackers have to plant the converter, while defenders have to defuse the convertor to secure a round. If there’s a tie, then players have 1v1 duels, and the last one standing is declared victorious. As for the Shard Card, both sides vote on the cards for the round.

Advanced Ranked Matches

Now, this is where the game becomes more competitive. Advanced matches have the same rules as regular matches aside from the card-picking system. After hitting the Diamond rank, every time a ranked match starts, both teams elect their own Card Captain. Moreover, there’s a banning/picking phase before the match starts, and the decisions are made by captains. This feature adds a new layer to the whole ranked scenario.

FragPunk offers exclusive rewards as you climb the ranks. Ranked Emblems display your highest rank in the game. You also get your hands on the exclusive skins and cosmetics but they’re available for higher ranks. You can also obtain seasonal rewards based on your final standing.
