Cod MW3 new map

Prebrief

While fighting around a Police Station and Gallery with the iconic tower emerging in the background, the battle erupts in the City of Love as Operators deploy to Paris. The two centre buildings control this mid-sized map while the streets around them pass by shops, cafes, and apartments.

In addition to some smaller interior spaces providing the means to get out of sight or set up an ambush, the city’s wide roads leave plentiful room for action on the ground.

Intel Card – Paris

Control the Streets

Controlling the streets requires strategic planning of your every move or action, namely the method you dominate sightlines from the main building or down the other side of the road. Use large cover objects or vehicles to reduce your visibility while roaming.

Survey the main buildings

The Gallery and Police Stations hold the most important positions on the map. Take a tour through each and note all the entryways and windows. Keep in mind that internalizing their layout will pay off in future matches, whether you’re on the street aiming to counter them or inside seeking out the next vantage points.

Mind the Noise

When firing, look at equipping a suppressor to stay off the enemy’s radar. Not knowing whether you’re out or inside will throw off the enemy’s ability to fight. Carry a launcher to down UAVs before they can disfigure your play.

Tactical Overview

In team-based modes, squads will either spawn near the Plaza (south) or the Backlot (north). The gallery and police station are located between the two points, the surrounding streets advancing towards the popular landmark towering in the background.

We’ve divided the Paris Map into four sections based on key areas around the map:

·       MAIN SPAWN POINT: Backlot (+ Upper Street, Bookstore, Street)

·       MAIN SPAWN POINT: Plaza (+ Upper Street, Shop, Street)

·       ADDITIONAL AREA: Police Station

·       ADDITIONAL AREA: Gallery

MAIN SPAWN POINT: BACKLOT (NORTH)

Cod Map

The parked vehicles being the main sources of cover when moving through the area, the Backlot places Operators on flat open ground. For a better look around or use their bulk to control your sight lines on the ground you can climb on top of an ambulance. There are several pathways inbound to the Backlot from the Police Station and the outer streets, so you may not want to wait around too long unless the objective calls for it.

Players who equip long-ranged weapons may want to pivot directly to the western Street running down the map’s left side. For every playstyle to shine, there’s a clear view across—a sharpshooter’s dream—but scattered vehicles and the surrounding buildings offer ample opportunities. Remember that you’ll be gambling against the odds of running into a potential sniper of your own whether you’re out in full view.

With the greater risk, the upper street on the Paris map’s right side also provides longer sight lines. The large panes of glass in the lobby and the blasted hole in the Police Station wall offer prime flanking paths into the area. To allow the operators to move into their ideal range, the layout of the vehicles also makes it possible to cross Upper Street without overly exposing your position. The perfect position to attack players moving through, watch that gallery window.

MAIN SPAWN POINT: PLAZA (SOUTH)

To offer more room to maneuver compared to the opposing Backlot, the south starting spawn brings Operators to the Gallery side of the map in space. The closed-off subway and Kiosk entrance provide multiple extra covers in the Plaza along with the high fence lining a dining nook in the southeast corner.

From the Plaza to Upper Street, the shop on the opposite corner provides a quick pivot. The interior on this spot offers overhead cover against enemy streaks, a valuable hideaway that avoids the busier Gallery. You can utilize the Upper Street-facing window for the perfect opening for grenades.

The Plaza splits off toward Street on the left and Upper Street on the right and is similar to Backlot. For a commanding view down the road, take a long-ranged weapon to the billboard or the low stone wall at the top of the steps over Street. Operators with close-range weapons may prefer the tight layout of Gallery or Upper Street.

Additional Area: Police Station

The larger of the two main buildings, Police Station has a central office that wraps around an L-shaped cubicle and stops the operators from taking in the room at a single glance. when facing enemies on the opposite side, some cat and mouse encounters around obstacles and toss grenades over the cubicle.

There will be a lot of movement in and out of the building because there are seven direct points of entry into the central office. For tracking the incoming threats and keeping your senses sharp for flank attacks, you must check your minimap on the screen. To make a stand in the room; when it’s time to move again, you’ve got plenty of options to choose from then hug the inside of the center L-shape by the desk.

The station’s east wing swings through a blasted hole in the wall and the cell block before turning down through the lobby. With multiple exits onto Upper Street, get ready for close fights along this winding path punctured. Use this route to flank it from a more discreet angle or to avoid the center office.

ADDITIONAL AREA: GALLERY

The Gallery presents its challenges, namely its tight layout divided between the adjacent hallways and the front bar area branching to opposite sides of the building. Access to the upstairs is disconnected, so utilize the countertop and the base of the columns for cover when fighting inside the bar. Because there’s little room to maneuver once a skirmish breaks out, so you must quick draw here.

For setting up a great longshot position over the Street, the first hallway north of the bar leads out onto the Plaza by the stairs. The upcoming hallway is bruised by a hole in the wall facing the Police Station and a powerful overwatch position via the window looking out over Upper Street. Both hallways are short; success requires finding a balance between the mid-ranged needs of firing out on enemies in the street and the close-quarters needs of fighting within these spaces.

Top 10 Tips For Paris Map

Here are all the tips that you need to know when playing Paris maps.

Take in the sights

Paris is a city that shouldn’t be rushed. Scan your surroundings when you have good cover. Watch for movement near the ambulances and other large objects and check your corners or check your corners. To have a significant advantage, stay covered while enemies move out into the open.

Know your ground

playing inside the Police Station or gallery, or Moving through the streets offers wildly different challenges. Inside, you can expect to slug it out up close with incoming threats; outside, there’s more room to breathe with longer sight lines. be prepared for anything as any playstyle can adapt.

Don’t forget the little guys

While not as prominent as the two center buildings, the Shop and Bookstore are both valuable interior spaces. Use them as defensive hubs from which to lure them to your position or target enemies at a distance.

Makeshift perch

Climb on top of the vans and ambulances liberally scattered throughout the map to quickly get a better view. A valuable tool when seeking out targets in the city’s winding streets as the height afforded by these vehicles extends your sight lines in a pinch.

Care Packages are a go

The initial spawns in Paris are well protected and are placed away from the side streets. These are generally safe areas to call in a Care Package if the enemy’s focus is elsewhere. For a boost in acquiring the streak, throw on the Bone Conduction Headset.

Confuse and distract

Try out the Inflatable Decoy Field Upgrade in the gallery or police station. To make them more susceptible to distractions, operators who move through these areas are already on edge anticipating imminent attacks.

Test out new forms of attack

Operators who kill should try out the new Missile Drone streak arriving in Season 4. Players who achieve its 1375 score or 11-elimination requirement can pilot a drone that fires guided missiles, the perfect tool for clearing enemies off the perimeter.

Refresh yourself

When covering the area then the bar counter in the Gallery offers a great defensive position. It’s right by the C flag in Domination. Equip your weapon on the countertop for extra accuracy when targeting enemies in the Plaza and consider Tac-Stance for downing foes incoming from inside the gallery and upper street.

Make it quick

For the ability to resupply throwing knives from fallen Operators, you can use the Scavenger Gloves. The Gallery and close quarters of the Police Station create ample chances to land eliminations with the throwing knife, maintaining a low profile in the process.

Your trip, your choice

Try to play fast by weaving through the streets and bouncing between buildings, or opt for a more tactical approach, using the map’s plentiful cover to gain ground methodically. Paris will support every playstyle you prefer.

That’s all for the new map! Also, if you are facing a packet loss issue, make sure you check our guide on how to fix MW3 packet loss because, after this new patch, many players are complaining about this issue.
