Nuketown Map is Confirmed for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

The upcoming title from Treyarch for the Call of Duty series is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 launching on October 25, 2024. And bringing numerous multiplayer maps on launch. As fans were predicting that there would be some more iconic maps from the Black Ops franchise that will come to Black Ops 6 in the future, Treyarch has confirmed that Nuketown will become available post-launch of Black Ops 6.

The release of Black Ops 6 will end the Season releases for Modern Warfare III and Warzone which will stop the major content updates. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Warzone is currently on Season 6 which is the final season for the games. Season 6 ends on November 6, 2024, and there will be no Season 7 for Modern Warfare III. However, good news for the Warzone players, the Warzone title will move to Black Ops 6 once it comes out and receive continuity of new content from Raven Software.

Treyarch Confirms Nuketown Map for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

There are a couple of weeks remaining until the launch of Black Ops 6, the next title from Treyarch in the Call of Duty series. Players are already loving the new gameplay mechanics like Omnimovement and Grab by playing the Open Beta. But Treyarch recently teased one of the biggest additions coming to the Black Ops 6, the Nuketown Map. It is time to grind weapons for new camos coming with BO6.

Treyarch teases the Nuketown Map which looks to be with the original aesthetics from Black Ops 1. The official photo shared on Twitter/X shows the iconic nuclear explosion with a caption of ‘Bring your sunscreen’. Not only that, but the caption also confirms the release date for the Nuketown map in Black Ops 6. The official date for Nuketown Map in Black Ops 6 is November 1, 2024. It is a week after the launch of the game.

Moreover, with the photo and the release date, Treyarch also shared a teaser video for the return of Black Ops 6. The teaser confirms the matching of Nuketown with the original Nuketown map. That was released in Black Ops 1 and it also shows the date as well.

The release of Nuketown which we all love was unexpected for every fan, especially with all the 16 multiplayer maps that have been confirmed by Treyarch on the launch of the game. All of the 16 maps are new and have never been seen before in any Black Ops title. These maps will be divided into two types, core maps and Strike Maps. The Core Maps contain all 6v6 modes and Strike Maps contain 2v2 and 6v6 modes.
