Apex Legends Lunar Rebirth Event Release date
The Lunar Rebirth event kicks off on Jan. 21 and will see the return not only of the Sword, but also will bring back Materia as well as introducing a brand new Prestige Skin. Here’s everything you need to know about the event.
Buster Sword is returning to Apex Legends
Buster Sword will be back as a weapon in Apex Legends and players will be available to use the weapons as it was in Final Fantasy event.
The Sword will have same features and attacks. These include all light and heavy attacks. You will be able to dash and block attacks. Moreover, Buster Sword has Limit Break attack which is an iconic part of the Final Fantasy universe.
Rift Relics will also be available during the Lunar Rebirth Event. Materia Hop-Ups are also available to grab from the Rift Relics.
Here are all the Materia you can get as a reward from the Lunar Rebirth Event.
- Blue Materia – HP Absorb: damage enemies to heal yourself
- Green Materia – Lightning: reload an empty weapon to emit a shock nova, damaging and slowing nearby enemies
- Purple Materia – Crit Rate Up: random criticals provide extra damage
- Red Materia – Summon: summon a Nessie companion to attack your foes
New Alter Prestige Skin in Apex Legends
24 new exclusive skins are coming with the Lunar Rebirth Event. These include Legendary skins for Vantage, Gibraltar, and Revenant.
You can also unlock an exclusive Alter skin “Voidsnake” after completing the event. More rewards for Alter include Venomous Aura Skydive Trail and Crystal Corruption Finisher.
You can track you rewards for Lunar Rebirth Event by going to the event tab and unlock exclusive Trackers, Battle Pass star and a Catalyst skin.
