Season 23 of Apex Legends, From the Rift, has been released. And is going back in time, and Lifeline is one of the earliest Legends to get a new life in the new update. Here’s everything changing about Lifeline rework in Apex Legends Season 23.
Apex Legends From the Rift
It’s the fifth anniversary of Apex Legends and exciting new content is coming to the Battle Royale. Respawn is taking fans of the game back to what started Apex. That includes a throwback to the original characters and legends. One of the major ones receiving a rework is Lifeline in Season 23. It’s time to score more wins with a throwback to the original Apex Legends.
Lifeline rework in From the Rift
Respawn finally shared exciting news about lifeline rework and a new Season 23 trailer for Apex Legends. Lifeline is part of the original roaster of Apex and she received changes back in season 18. Lifeline will receive new skills to make her a more attractive support combat medic. Her healing drone will also receive a rework and will be a better skill.
Lifeline can now pick her D.O.C her healing drone and D.O.C will be her passive skill. This will allow her to pick it up and use it as a glider. Using her drone as a glider was observed by the team in Apex Legends animated videos and trailers. So, they made that a reality in-game. This gives really good mobility to Lifeline and she can play closer and support other skirmisher legends in your team.
Another upgrade to D.O.C is that the drone will now allow to follow the teammates that require healing. This is a great initiative and moving teammates can stay healed. Moreover, the drone can be assigned to any teammate at any time. This is a very powerful rework and will change the meta how Lifeline is played.
Lifeline Ultimate rework
D.O.C has also become part of Lifeline’s new Ultimate ability. Before Lifeline Ultimate was a Care Package, this has been removed and replaced with a D.O.C halo. The halo helps killing all outside fire, and everyone inside the halo is protected and is healed rapidly. However, if other players come inside the halo, they will also be healed quickly.
The halo is open from above So, enemies can still shoot you from high ground or above. All Apex Legends characters stand to benefit from Lifeline’s upgrades. A new Heal Expert Perk will be made available for Support Legends, which will increase a character’s speed if they’re actively healing teammates. Meanwhile, a Revive Speed Perk will prove helpful for anybody looking to resurrect teammates, bringing them back into the fight 25 percent faster and with a health regen boost.
There’s more for Apex Legends players to be excited about with Season 23. A balance patch will tweak several characters, Rift Relics will pop up during sessions with special weapons and Boost Kits, a new Battle Pass will launch, and Respawn will continue working to implement additional anti-cheat measures.
