Apex Legends hits lowest Player Count Since Launch

Apex Legends players are concerned and complaining about no signs of new content in game. With Apex getting a return to the same old LTM mode in the holiday season for the fifth time and the same Apex Skins going for sale at a reduced price fans are mad. The Winter Express would be around for the sixth year running if it hadn’t been skipped in 2023 in exchange for Revenant Uprising, an event that didn’t exactly bring the holiday cheer and wasn’t well received.

Apex Legends Winter’s Haunt event is officially coming as Respawn releases a new trailer showcasing new exclusive skins from the event. A new brand new LTM The Winter Express is also coming out with the event. This can be a fresh start for Apex Legends players who are thinking of returning to the game.

Season 23 of Apex Legends, From the Rift, has been released. And is going back in time, and Lifeline is one of the earliest Legends to get a new life in the new update. Here’s everything changing about Lifeline rework in Apex Legends Season 23.

Apex Legends is a popular tactical shooter battle royale video game from EA offering 25 different heroes for players to pick from for their casual or competitive/rank matches. The rank grind in Apex Legends can be tough due to the various gameplay mechanics like learning the closing of circles, positioning, end-match placements, and more. New Season 22, is filled with new map loot and recent changes to the map pool are also live with mid-season updates.

All Apex Legends players including casual and pro players are not very happy with the current state of the game and demanding new content to the game.

Apex Legends Low Player Count

With the Christmas event having come and gone at this point, the devs haven’t done much to dissuade that fear for players. Between the same LTM coming back for the holiday season and high-level players wanting matchmaking changes, sentiment toward Apex Legends isn’t exactly positive. But a trailer released promoting some skins from the End of Year sale has players questioning what’s going on at Respawn.

Moreover, the general sentiment was that players have just lost interest in matchmaking issues and a lack of truly fresh content in the game outside of cosmetic items. Many people just feel bad for the social media people who are posting tweets and getting greeted by a wall of disgruntled players.

Apex has hit its lowest player count in history with its life cycle can be viewed on steam database platforms. Players do come up and shine on the peak hours in certain regions but we have seen numbers going down lower than 40k players. This is one of the lowest players the competitive shooter has seen since its launch.

Apex took a few weeks to get going on Steam when it dropped as people swapped off of launching the game through origin, but, if you look a month or two past that transition period, this really is the lowest player count the game has ever had.

The sole reason for such low number of players are the quality of support and not putting players first. However, Devs would require to take drastic measures to get back to the peak of Apex Legends and introduce refreshing content for the game going into year 2025.

That’s all you need to know about Apex Legends hitting the lowest player count since its launch and how they can learn from it.
