Destiny 2 is one of the most popular free-to-play massively multiplayer online shooters from Bungie with lots of content, activities, features, gameplay mechanics, and more. Bungie has created its good reputation by constantly adding new content for the players to enjoy and keeping the game fresh for all players whether they are new to the game or old.
The ongoing Act III of Episode Echoes in Destiny 2 was just released a month ago on August 27, 2024, featuring a continuation of story content from Act II with Exotic missions, various activities, and new weapons including an Exotic Auto Rifle called Choir of One.
As Act III is the final episode of Echoes and concludes the story by progressing through the main story quests, a lot of players seem to have been facing an issue in gathering Engrams from Skywatch enemies for the Accidental Generosity triumph. So, to ease things out for the players, Bungie released a small update yesterday, featuring a few changes including the increase of Skywatch enemies to have a better chance of collecting Engrams.
What is New in Destiny 2 Update 8.0.5.5
As mentioned above, the latest Destiny 2 update is a small patch focusing on balance changes to assist players in Exotic Mission: Encore and the density of Skywatch enemies. Moreover, Bungie has also made changes to UI/UX and the Eververse. Apart from this, everything else is the same in Destiny 2: Episode Echoes ACT III.

- Darkness has been removed from both Encore boss encounters on Normal difficulty. On Expert, Darkness is unchanged.
UI/UX
Fireteam Finder
- Activity-specific Titles have been added to Exotic Mission: Encore to support players in communicating their goals to potential fireteam members.
Gameplay and Investment
Triumphs
- Adjusted enemy density in Skywatch to better support the engram requirements of the Accidental Generosity Triumph.
Eververse
- Adjusted the visibility of the Recommendations tile in Eververse.
Destiny 2: Episode Echoes ACT III is the final act and ends in a couple of weeks, specifically on October 8, 2024. Moreover, the Bungie has already plans for its next Episode, Revenant, which will go live the same day Echoes ends.

In a recent blog post from Bungie, they revealed that the Episode Revenant will have a first-ever Dungeon Race in which the first three fireteams to complete the dungeon will be rewarded. This new exciting and competitive dungeon is Vesper’s Host and will come out on October 11, 2024.
