Rainbow Six Siege’s new Operation Twin Shells brings various new features such as Siege Cup, Competitive Points, Warm-up mode, and more, but the main highlight of this new operation is a new Defender Operator named Skopós. Who is Skopós in Rainbow Six Siege
Skopós is a brand-new operator added to the Defenders’ side with the Operation Twin Shells update. Her real name is Kure Galanos and 42 years of age born in Nicosia, Cyprus. She mainly excels in a support role gathering information around the map while roaming with one of her two humanoid robots. However, her ability to control robots can also excel in offense. Moreover, Skopós is a Two-speed and Two-health operator.
Skopós Loadout in Rainbow Six Siege
Skopós has a very limited arsenal to her name, but all the available equipment can be enough for you to tackle the rushing operators. Let’s start with her Primary and Secondary weapons.
Skopós Primary Weapon
Skopós’ primary weapon is the new Assault Rifle called PCX-33, a great weapon for all-range encounters. This new weapon is exclusive to Skopós and has very little recoil compared to other Assault Rifles in the game. PCX-33 deals 40 damage at 745 RPM and has access to all Assault Rifles attachments.
Skopós Secondary Weapon
Similar to the primary weapon, Skopós also has access to only one secondary weapon, a P229 Handgun. It is a decent handgun with manageable recoil which can help you greatly in intense fights if you run out of ammo in your primary weapon.
Skopós Secondary Gadgets
For the gadgets, Skopós can either hold two Impact Grenades or two Proximity Alarms. As for the balance changes in Operation Twin Shells, Proximity Alarm has been nerfed. Regardless of nerf or not, the Impact Grenades are a way to go for Skopós as they can help you move around the map efficiently via rotation holes.
Skopós V10 Pantheon Shells – Unique Ability
Now, the main highlight of Skopós is her unique ability called V10 Pantheon Shells. The V10 Pantheon Shells are two humanoid robots named Talos and Colossus, that Skopós deploy in the game. As mentioned above Skopós is a disabled character, she doesn’t take the fighting grounds on her own, instead sends two robots.
Both of the humanoid robots are controllable by players, one at a time. However, players can freely switch between the robots as many times as they want. Having two controllable robots will allow players to use them for various maneuvers such as using one robot as a camera, decoy, flanking, and more.
With switchable robots, another unique mechanic of the robots is that the stationary robot, that you are not using at the moment will go into a crouch stance with a shield in front. The shield is highly capable of blocking any bullet, but it can be destroyed with a grenade. As you switch to a stationary robot, you can view the surroundings while protected behind a shield before you fully transfer and start controlling the robot. Transferring to another robot will make the other robot go into the shield stance.
However, a few of the crucial mechanics for these robots are as follows.
- If the current active robot that you are using gets shot down/eliminated by the enemies, Skopós is dead.
- If the enemies shoot down the stationary robot, Skopós will remain in control of the active robot for the round.
- Each robot has its own health pool and ammunition, allowing players to freely switch to other robots when necessary.
- The gadget ammunition (impact grenades and proximity alarms) is shared between the robots.
- The robots cannot be healed by operators like Doc and Thunderbird.
Tips for Skopós
Despite the limitations of humanoid robots, playing Skopós still gets you a health pool worth two operators. You can easily escape the unwinnable fights by transferring to the other robot and flank the attackers from behind to take them out surprisingly. Moreover, you can place one robot away from the bomb site to roam the map, gather information, and even take out the attackers from behind.
Moreover, the robots are immune to Smoke and Fenrir’s gas. You can run through the gas without taking any damage to eliminate clueless attackers.
