Genburten is, without a doubt, the best controller player in Apex. His perfect aim has left fear in most pro players. If you’ve ever wanted to point fingers at the man behind aim assist nerfs in Apex, it’s this guy because his aim is just too perfect. It left mouse and keyboard players thinking aim assist is overpowered. What’s even funnier is he’s actually really good on mouse and keyboard as well, but he chooses to play on controller, and that alone has earned him a lot of respect from the community.

Number Four: Sweet Dreams
Sweet is definitely one of the best players when it comes to strategies and high-tier ranked gameplay. It’s true he does complain a lot about controller players, but you can’t deny his greatness in Apex. He’s one of the top-tier players in Apex comp, and his big brain plays are more than enough to show that he deserves his place on the list.

Number Three: ImperialHal
This might cause a debate, but yes, at number three we have Imperial Hal. You can say whatever you want about how he’s toxic and has a terrible attitude when speaking to teammates. He even blames his teammates a lot, even when it’s not their fault. He has a history of that for sure, but he also has a history of winning Apex tournaments. Imperial Hal is the most decorated Apex player of all time. He’s won around 30 tournaments and made about $180,000 from that. Say whatever you want about his personality, but this man is a winner. Without him, TSM wouldn’t have been this successful in Apex Legends comp.

Number Two: ItzTimmy
Timmy’s one of the most enjoyable players to watch. He thrives in Apex and he’s simply done it all. He’s the former record holder of the highest damage done in a single game, 9k damage, which he accomplished playing solo and not using anyone’s help. He’s done some crazy challenges like going from bronze to masters in one stream. Every single day he shows that he’s simply the best in the game. We were very close to placing him in the number one spot.

Number One: Aceu
Back when Apex was out, when everyone was learning how to play Apex, Aceu was ruining the game with his movement skills. Him and very few players like Dizzy were miles ahead of other pro players. A lot of good players learned from him back in the days, and it’s simply remarkable how he’s maintained the crown up until this day. Yes, he did leave Apex for a while, but he’s always returned like he never left, which shows how skilled he actually is. The reason why we picked Aceu above It’s Timmy is the fact that Timmy plays Apex a lot more than Brandon, and yet they’re still almost equal when it comes to skills and play styles.
